Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Alicia Thompson has called Jasper County, SC home since 2020. She joined The Seabrook in August 2025 as Director of Human Resources, where she is dedicated to fostering a supportive and high-performing workplace culture. In her role, Alicia oversees key HR functions including talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and organizational development.

With more than 17 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Alicia brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep appreciation for community and the professionals who dedicate their lives to caring for others. Her career journey includes a variety of leadership roles that have strengthened her expertise in training and development, strategic thinking, effective communication, and team building, skills she is passionate about cultivating in others.

Alicia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration and takes pride in the balance she has achieved between professional growth and family life. Outside of work, she enjoys time at the beach with her husband, their three adult children, and their three beloved furry companions.
